I loved this! I have never read Briar Prescott before and now I am wanting to check out everything she’s ever written!
My favorite books are usually enemies to lovers but friends to lovers are close behind and this was, in my opinion, a perfect friends to lovers story. I loved both Grey and Kai and how they went from best friends to just having sex. Feelings were obviously involved already but Grey takes awhile to get there.
This was sweet with little to no angst and I am so happy there was no big breakup or misunderstanding. I needed this lovely book because I’ve been on a reading lull lately. Big props too to the author because the female characters, especially Grey’s ex, were not written as caricatures. That was a refreshing change.

You’re going to love her other books! The dating experiment is the 2nd book in this series and I thought it was even better than this. I love her writing ❤️

"no big breakup or misunderstanding" I love to hear this so much! And the female ex not being demonized also earns a lot of points. I heard the sequel is just as good (or even better for some), so hopefully you love it too. I need to get to this one soon. Great review by the way, Suzette!
