Steve Saroff is a short-story writer and novelist. He traditionally published over 30 short stories in Redbook and other national magazines and is the author of the 'truth-stirred-with-ficiton' novel, Paper Targets, as well as The Long Line of Elk, and several forthcoming works. He hosts the popular podcast Montana Voice.

A dyslexic runaway, in addition to his writing, he taught himself coding and founded and then sold several tech companies, including FreeMail Inc, the world's first commercially successful web-based email system. New Short Story on Author Web Site

The characters in 'Paper Targets' are based on people I have known and stories I have heard. In late October 1979, The Turf Bar (which also housed Zimmorino's Pizza) on Main Street in Missoula, Montana, burnt down.
