Artist, designer and writer, Kevin “Gig” Wailgum, self-published in 2012 a one-of-a-kind holiday children’s book titled “A Visit From Santa Clops or The Fright Before Christmas”. "The Cave of Santa Clops" is the second Santa Clops book and was published in 2014. Gig created the character Santa Clops® in 1990 around the time he was in the Masters of Illustration Program at the School of Visual Arts. Since then Santa Clops® has appeared on newspaper covers, greeting cards and in comics. Gig has had other illustrations and comics appear in the New York Times Book Review, The New Yorker magazine, the Stranger Newspaper and the Resident Newspaper. ...more
