That was a good one... especially after all those horrible books I picked up and tried to read recently, it felt like a breath of fresh air.
It could have been better, though, because the way it started felt like it was going to be epic. Well, in the end, it was not epic for me, but still it was good enough.

I got this book without even reading the blurb. Why bother? Whatever Ms. Geissinger writes, I will read and she won't disappoint 90 % of the time and that is rare. After months and months of searching for a good book and coming across none, finally, here's a book that captures my attention in Ch. 1 with its talented writing and amazing characters.

Totally agree. I was expecting it to wow me but it didn’t quite get there.

Enjoyed it in the sense I actually read it well into the night. But it didn’t have the plot satisfaction needed.
