Boom Box is Orbulon's Boss Microgame in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. Its name is a pun on "boombox".

Gameplay[edit]

The player controls a bald man wearing blue gloves, red shorts, and black shoes and must keep the controllers up at all times. When the opponent's arm drops, the player must quickly keep punching him until he raises his arms again. This process is repeated until the opponent is KO'd.

  • 1st level difficulty: The opponent is not strong. He is a muscular man with fair skin and wears red gloves, blue shorts, and black shoes. In the Japanese version, he has a mustache and a goatee and wears a turban, while in localized versions, he wears an afro with a chick in it.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The opponent is stronger. He is a muscular man with pale skin, gray hair, a rose in his mouth, and a mustache and wears green gloves, olive shorts, and black shoes.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The opponent is very strong. He is an obese man with dark skin, a mustache, a beard, and hair on his chest who wears black gloves, black shorts, and black shoes. In the Japanese version, he has an afro and pink lips, while in localized versions, he has a scar and dark lips.

Trivia[edit]

  • The man in this microgame appears in Mona's microgame Wet Your Whistle as the player. In the second level of Wet Your Whistle, the liquid makes him look like the first opponent in Boom Box.
  • The booing sound can also be heard in Closing Night and Wario Dance Company.
