Rumble Fishing is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 4. Its name is a pun on the title of the book Rumble Fish by S. E. Hinton.
Introduction[edit]
The camera shows a shot of the sun before tilting down to the four players on a dock, backs turned and holding fishing poles.
Gameplay[edit]
Each player has a fishing line. When the players each feel a bite (indicated by the Rumble Feature, hence the name), they must press the button to reel in a Cheep Cheep. If the Rumble Feature is turned off, an exclamation mark is shown onscreen instead. The player who presses the fastest reels in the biggest Cheep Cheep and wins the minigame. If everyone presses too early or no one presses it within a certain time limit, the minigame ends in a tie.
Ending[edit]
The players turn towards the camera, and the winner performs their victory animation while the losers perform their losing animations. If a tie occurs, everyone performs their losing animation.
