Scrubbing Sirena Beach is the sixth episode of Sirena Beach in Super Mario Sunshine. The episode's objective is to wash the beach that has been covered in electric goop once again.
Layout[edit]
As soon as the player enters the level, the hotel manager will tell Mario that the electric goop is back and tells him to help clean it up within a time limit of three minutes. A large portion of the beach and terraces are covered in the electric goop (which is in the shape of a Boo from a bird's eye view) and the player only needs to clean a majority of it. The player can use the Water Barrels around the beach, or spin the Control Stick and press 
to spin on the ground and spray water in a large radius. Once enough of the goop is cleaned up, the timer will stop and the player has to go talk to the hotel manager to get the Shine Sprite. If Mario fails to clean all of the goop within the time limit, he will lose a life.

Trivia[edit]
- In the Super Mario 3D All-Stars version of Super Mario Sunshine, the timer may stop after clearing a very small amount of goop, or in extremely rare cases, no goop at all.[1][2]
