  @Pigsonthewing: For me this is strange. Homo sapiens doesn't have 46 chromosomes just as he has two legs. He has 46 chromosomes in each cell. Tubezlob (🙋) 08:30, 25 May 2018 (UTC)

• When I first read the name of the property I thought it was about the number of the chromosome t which a particular gene is located. Given the intended meaning how about "amount of chromosomes" as name? Is there a reasoning for capitalizing "chromosome"? ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 12:33, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
