Summary of Video games WikiProject open tasks:

The N version available for download at the Metanet Software official site (harveycartel.org) is simply 1.4 and has 500 main levels and 153 user levels, not including downloadable Numa levels. I don't know about a version 1.4a, but I'd like to if it exists.

Doors

This section is completly gone exept for the subtitle doors. 68.38.135.139 01:28, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ghost Mode

If you hit a jump pad and get zaped at the same time you go into a ghost like mode where nothing notices you and you can only die from falling, have any of you noticed.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.38.135.139 (talkcontribs).

Yes, I've noticed this, it may be a glitch of some sort. Also, please sign your posts on talk pages by putting: ~~~~ . Thank you. --WillMak050389 20:25, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'm new to editing Wikipedia 68.38.135.139 15:45, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Secret

Should this article list "the secret" of N? After you complete all 500 levels you get a [deleted]. If so, it might need a spolier warning.

Oh, thanks a lot. You just ruined it for me. ;) I put a spoiler warning on this page, just in case anyone else comes along. - 69.47.188.12 06:47, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Bah! Ruined for me too. I'm tellin' ya, karma is gonna get you. Definitely, definitely do not put that on the page. It shouldn't even be here. — mæstro t/c, 10:01, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Ruined it for me too. Bah. Sweep.
BAH! Spoiled for me too.
Doesn't need a spolier warning if there is no longer a spoiler. Ck lostsword 17:09, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Colors

Should the colors be included in the article under a spoiler warning? I do not know what this secret is (and I hope I don't find out), but I think the colors are safe to be put up. The last color/whatever you get should be excluded as it is obviously something very big.

I don't think getting a different color is not a very shocking thing to get or even to mention, so I don't think we need any spoiler warning at all. There's nothing big when you beat the game, as far as I know. --Conti| 02:05, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
When you complete the game you get to choose a custom colour from RGB sliders.

is this the big secret at the end???

I don't see why the colours should put here at all though. They're not very important.— mæstro t/c,

This has been discussed before, and we decided against including it. Ck lostsword|queta! 16:22, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cheats

In a continuation of a similar strand, an IP user posted a list of cheats today. I removed them, deeming Wikipedia to be an improper platform for that information, but I'm not ceratin if that is the right thing to do. Please comment. Ck lostsword|queta! 16:58, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The cheats come with the game in a separate text file anyway. Including them serves no purpose, I agree with your removal.

50000 user levels

I found a link to download 50000 user levels in one text file. I posted the link on the article. --220.238.160.75 07:27, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since there are 50000 levels, it may take long for N to parse data. --220.238.160.75 07:30, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

it will take ALOT Of time, if you have a slow computer, it won't stay alive to make it --66.198.41.24 (talk) 13:16, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

computer-generated level codes

Computer-generated level codes should be merged in to N(game) since it is only pertaining to this game. ExterayT.C 23:37, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Computer-generated level codes has been merged with N (game) -KingpinE7

Well, I just made your lives living hell

I added a TON of raw, uncited info on N v1.5. Also, Mare Sheppard and Raigan Burns now have their own articles. And will somebody help me save the article on Robotology (game)? Thanx. -KingpinE7

Unfortunately willing to do something doesn't work. Those there is WP:IAR the guidelines in cases like these are generally adhered to. While Metanet may be notable the people behind it aren't necesarily (which is why other unconnected persons have already speedy deleted the pages) so and please don't ad big slabs of information like that, especially if its a quote. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 04:01, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

N v1.5

Okay, we need a section on N v1.5, which is currently in development. Here is the link to all of the information you need [1] -KingpinE7

Reply is on your user page. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 05:17, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
... before you say anything ask a neutral party. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 02:13, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

About your rewrite. The article isn't supposed to talk to the reader. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 06:39, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok what in gods name would a neutral party be needed for. This is not something that people have stances on. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.230.180.133 (talkcontribs) .

Well we're strongly biased to having or not having that material. I felt that it didn't meet any kind of WP standard and told him to seek a neutral parties opinion on whether or not my opinion was true. Besides... that was resolved long ago. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 06:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's Time To Let Go...

The Secrets

We of the N community do not wish the secrets to be revealed at all, regardless of a spoiler warning. It always has been so, and it's one tradition we try and keep up. Please, let there be no more instances of the Secrets being listed. 59.100.10.169 21:06, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia tells you what "Rosebud" was in Citizen Kane, why is there such a dispute over some measly colors. Even if we get rid of the two secrets, the flavors are listed on the N Wiki. - AMP'd 21:30, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but Wikipedia does contain spoilers, and they are not allowed to be removed just because they are spoilers. Not that this particular spoiler is anything special or secret, anyways. --Conti| 21:32, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Colors

I recently reverted an edit that removed mention of RGB values in the section that mentioned the colors. I'm pretty sure that it makes sense to leave that in, as there are several other ways to create custom colors, but I'd like some consensus. - AMP'd 21:58, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, leave it in. There's your consensus :P --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 00:48, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd prefer to leave it in as well. ;) --ExterayT.C 00:39, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is a Ninja?

I just removed the following from the article:

"Ninja" as used here refers to a completely fictional class of person with incredible jumping ability and dexterity, rather than the feudal Japanese spy/assassin.

The "Ninja" in the game is a stylistic representation of the "feudal spy/assassin." Everyone knows that. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rebent (talkcontribs) 23:33, 15 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

I think that we should change this article's title to N Game because that is what it is called on all of the gaming sies such as adictinggames.com and ebaumsworld.com. Also, I have never heard any of my friends refer t it as "N." They say "N Game" instead. Tell me what you think. AlexHillan 16:52, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose The official name of the game is "N" (see official game site). It is referred to as "N Game" on other sites that are posting it against the original developers license agreement, see The section on the article about "N Game". It should stay as "N (game)". --WillMak050389 17:56, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose yeah, you really shouldn't go to ebaums world for official anything. It'd be easier to find a logical discourse on homosexuality at 4chan --Rebent
Oppose, unless you want us to change the name of the article on Terminator 2: Judgement Day to T2, change the name of the article on homosexuals to whatever your friends call them, etc. Mostly my argument is that we should use the official name, but also the stolen copies on ebaums and addictinggames.com are, well, stolen. Should we change the article on Rolexes to Fauxlexes? - AMP'd 00:58, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - follow the official name. ck lostswordTC 20:26, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose keep the official name. E.G. 05:39, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose and also suggest that you shouldn't be playing old illegal versions of the game. — mæstrosync talk&contribs, 02:14, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it be moved. --Stemonitis 20:17, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

N+

Discussion on whether N+ should get its own article. JAF1970 (talk) 23:00, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's the same game, just with more levels and slightly updated graphics. What, exactly, would an N+ artice have? JAF1970 (talk) 08:35, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: Only if there is enough content to place in an N+ article, and I don't believe there is but I'm not well informed enough to properly oppose. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 09:58, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The Xbox.com N+ page has all the info you need. And you'll see there's not much there that isn't in the main article. JAF1970 (talk) 00:50, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There are other sources. IGN and GameSpot have both reviewed it, for example. Oren0 (talk) 01:00, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Bloat up N+ first or demonstrate a prototype and we have an article and I'll throw in a conditional support on the condition that a good prototype for N+ is demonstrated that is not a dumb little stub that could rest here. Klichka (talk) 02:32, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I agree with Klichka and will support if we can see what such article would look like. Mrmoocow (talk) 07:34, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Comment UNO is unique in that it has crossplatform play with the PC, has detailed downloadable content with new gameplay (ie. new cards). And there's no way you could put an XBLA section in the Texas Hold'em article since it's about the card game, not any actual computer/video game. JAF1970 (talk) 03:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
