History
[edit]This source on Frank Ponta says it was established in 1956, as does this and other sources. The four years between 1956 and their first tournament in 1960 needs to be added. Would a 'History' section be appropriate? John Vandenberg (chat) 04:07, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
I assume that this national team also competes in the Wheelchair Basketball World Championship. That Championship was held in Australia for the first time in 1986, and later in 1998 when Australia came fourth in men and Bronze in women. The men came first in 2010.
