[edit]Who ever wrote this page up needs to go back to English class. Since English obviously isn't anyone's first language here, maybe this should be written up in Spanish Wiki.
Why would they want to kill Chalino Sánchez? Chalino Sánchez was a singer just his type many say after chalinos death nobody heard of him ever againg
My reason due to the void of references for the Chalino Sánchez page is due to the lack of informative resources on the Internet, and the small deterioration of fan sites about Chalino Sánchez (Come on people, it's been approximately 15 Years since his death), and I sincerely apologize for this.
Edited due to unnecissary commentry, please refrase from disrecspectful commentry user 166.70.29.194; have a reasonable doubt than a opinion.
Sorry buddy, but I don't see you mr. ip adress166.70.29.194 typing so perfectly, and any errors I may have done are called typos which are small unnoticed errors or flaws that may occur from typing a abundant amount of paragraphs or sentences; whether speaking.
Sorry about the profanity. Don't take it so personal, I was just coming to clean up my language and I feel bad for it. I wrote that in prisa as I was rather dismayed by the poor quality of the article. Remember its not your article, even if you are the main contributing author... it is wikipedia's article. Everyone appreciates your research and work; and if people can make it better then so be it. It is clear that your English skills aren't perfect; why not let some others get in here and do a little work-- thus the "cleanup" tag. It needs to be Wikipedia quality or it needs to be cleaned up and Wikipedia quality means perfect English and lack of POV. Parts of the article read like a Chalino Sánchez fan page, and sorry to say it but many of your claims without references probably don't belong in an encyclopedia article as they can not be verified as fact. That is the importance of references in Wikipedia; just because someone says something is so doesn't mean its true! I figured I'd let some other people with more skills and time than me take a look at it and see if with more people working on bringing it up to speed, the article couldn't improve and EVERYONE could benefit. Being an IP address is better than being anonymous. Sign yo posts. And don't delete my posts on the talk page even if you disagree with them or find them offensive! That is not appropriate!

Why don't you clean it up? I spent that WHOLE day editting that page, cut me some slack bro, o.k? Go ahead....give in to some POV; but wouldn't you be offended if someone reffered to you as a "pinche cabron"?Look, I understand that ALL of the articles that I and others edit are in property license under Wikipedia, yes I have absolutely no problem with you putting a clean up tag, but you didn't have to be an a-hole, ok? Atleast I was nice enough not to report you --Andres Flores 02:04, 14 February 2007 (UTC) (Here's my signature Mr. Perfect, Jeez)
No I would not be offended because it means nothing to me, Spanish is a second language, I original found it rather amusing... And I'm not going to clean up the article because I could care less about Mexican drug heroes. I'm just here to annoy you. Maybe English encyplopedic authoring ain't your thing buddy. Yeah, the Spanish Wikipedia might be a better place for your talents. 166.70.29.194 01:17, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Chal cover.jpg
[edit]Image:Chal cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Death
[edit]The story about his death does not make clear the relations between the New Year's incident and his murder. Why was he killed? Had it something to do with his screaming of: "Chalo Araujo"? muy confundido 84.23.155.84 (talk) 14:59, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
I also am confused. I came here from the "narcocorrido" page, where, in discussing the history of the musical style, it mentions this man, and explains that he "was murdered after a concert", and how he became legendary after his death.
But hete, on this page, it simply says "car accident".
I think we can all agree that a murder is not an accident and an accident is not murder.
(In the US justice system, killing somebody by accident is still a crime if it was due to your own carelessness, such as when a death occurs as a result of a car accident that was found to be your fault. It is known as "manslaughter", in legal terms. Maybe, if this death happened in Mexico, perhaps their legal terminology still calls it a type of "murder" if you kill someone by accident in a car crash? That would explain seeing "murder" in one place, and "car accident" in another...however, this explanation doesn't sit right with me, and I bet it will end up being some other kind of mistake/misunderstanding :^) ) Enigmato (talk) 01:34, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
Ah ok i just noticed in this page it says he was murdered, in the preview/summary section at the top, and then, down in the actual article, it just says car accident.
I must've gotten a little confused, because this Wikipedia page is just so huge, that it is a lot to take in, so I could see how someone might miss something like that. I'm going to recommend that we break this one up into several separate wiki pages, so each one can actually be read in one sitting. Enigmato (talk) 01:57, 29 May 2017 (UTC)

Music is still popular in Mexico

What Happened to the article?
[edit]Chalino is a legendary figure and this article is barren. His son's article has more information than this one. Somebody must have defaced this article. It doesn't take much research to verify details of his history with links to articles. Lemonlimeotter (talk) 04:04, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Lemonlimeotter: Maybe instead of criticizing us why we (as Wikipedians) haven't expanded on the article, maybe you would just start the expansion yourself?--Biografer (talk) 04:14, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
That's not was I was getting at. Somebody deleted large parts of the article that was once here. It appears to have been restored since I posted this comment. Like why would I go through the effort to rewrite what was here just for some douche to vandalize it again? Lemonlimeotter (talk) 07:53, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
Made it more neutral
[edit]I have not removed any of the content itself, only reworded it to make it more 'encyclopaedic' and story-like. This meant rewording the sentences to have better grammar and a more neutral tone. This article needs more citations, especially in the section on his death and legacy. Anuthys (talk) 21:38, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
Eduardo Gallegos
[edit]Eduardo Gallegos was not killed. He is still serving his prison sentence. 2605:A601:A386:E900:FC34:A008:53DE:D767 (talk) 02:48, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
