[edit]I love Gordon Bok’s singing and guitar playing dearly (in fact, I’m listening to North Wind's Clearing as I write this). However, as much as I agree with this article’s sentiments, I think the current article is too much of an encomium to meet the usual standards of encyclopedic objectivity, so I would give it a grade of B in the Wikipedia grading system. If someone who knows more about Mr. Bok than I wishes to edit it accordingly so that it will be more like an article and less like an admirably favorable, well-informed review of his work, I think that would be good.

Connection with Philadelphia?
[edit]What is the connection of this man with Philadelphia? A category says so, but not the text of the article.--DThomsen8 (talk) 01:33, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
- I removed the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania templates. Replace them only if there is a stated connection in the text of the article, with an appropriate inline citation. I am also removing the category.--DThomsen8 (talk) 02:09, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
- In Jerusalem, in 1970, I had the privilege of playing (or playing with) a 12-string guitar that had once belonged to Gordon Bok. It was owned by someone who had taken guitar lessons from Gordon in Philidelphia. Too bad that I'm not a reliable source. Pedantrician (talk) 23:27, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
"Bay of Fundy" LP cover
[edit]Uploader's privilege: my favorite by far of his LPs, and one that I haven't been able to listen to since my old T/t died. Now playing, courtesy of Spotify! --Pete Tillman (talk) 19:25, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
