Circumstances of Death
[edit]Grete Forst was my grandmother. She did not die in the Vitebsk Ghetto as her biographical entry previously reported, but died at the concentration camp at Maly Trostenets, Belorussia (USSR). This information is based on a List of murdered Jews from Austria found in Namentliche Erfassung der oesterreichischen Holocaustopfer, Dokumentationsarchiv des oesterreichischen Widerstandes (Documentation Centre for Austrian Resistance), Wien. She is listed under her married name, Margarete Schuschny. --Julianne69 (talk) 08:26, 9 July 2011 (UTC) Also, she was actually born on 8/18/1878 and was married to my grandfather, Johann Schuschny. She had one child, my father, Fritz Schuschny, who later took the name Stanley John Foster when he fled to America in 1939.--Julianne69 (talk) 08:42, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
- I found a published reference for her death at Maly Trostenets extermination camp as well as her married name and have added it to the article which helps in the verification. Voceditenore (talk) 10:15, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
