I am moving this part from the lead here: "He ran for reelection in April 2011, but after initially being declared winner the result was overturned and he was arrested." Other than the NPOV aspect of this, I am having trouble backing it up. From what I understand, there will be another election, right? Dreambeaver (talk) 03:01, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The statement is backed up by the source cited in the body of the article, ThisDay. But it looks like either he appealed and won the appeal or re-ran and won the reelection, because his entry in Nassnig shows him as the current senator.
