Inline references

What's the current thinking on inline references in the list of appearances on stage etc.? There was originally a reference for every single listing, but it was removed as it made the references at the bottom unwieldy. Will the list survive without the inline referencing required in a lot of other articles? -- role^player 20:55, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
