Career
[edit]The section added to supposedly refute Ludlow's contemporary account of Booth's performance of Orestes in English at the French Theatre in New Orleans by claiming that Ludlow was in Mobile that year is ridiculous. Ludlow's biography, as well as the biographies of his acting & theatrical management contemporaries Sol Smith & Joseph Jefferson relate how it was common to shuttle between the theatres in Mobile, AL & New Orleans, LA often. The trip was a day trip via commercial steamers in the Gulf of Mexico. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rotoflex (talk • contribs) 07:46, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Death threat
[edit]Added section about Booth's death threat letter to President Jackson. I don't know how to cite - it's the most recent History Detectives episode on PBS.

- Assuming it was reported as accepted fact by recognized historians, and not just conjecture, you can refer to WP:CITE as a how-to guide. In a nutshell, this could be simply cited using this syntax:
- <ref>"Name of episode", ''[[History Detectives]]'', [[Public Broadcasting Service|PBS]], date aired.</ref>
- which will render as:
- "Name of episode", History Detectives, PBS, date aired.
- There are also many advanced {{citation}} templates, which require more familiarity to use proficiently, but this will suffice. I've also left you some other helpful information on your talk page. Happy editing! JGHowes talk 12:49, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
