Remove “childrens television” from the lede. All ages watch it. I’m 32 and a large portion of the fanbase nowadays are over 18 so it is only warranted. 2607:FEA8:FE10:8084:7CFA:D542:1CE6:ADD1 (talk) 04:15, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done: It's an accurate description It does not matter if adults also watch it. Meters (talk) 05:30, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just changed the bit about the 2022 removal to past tense. Possibly related is an Equestria Daily post saying that Hasbro doesn't actually own Generation 4, unfortunately the details are unconfirmed and currently the Equestria Daily post is the only source, so if we were to include this information (which we might have to) it might be best to wait until more information becomes available. Source of the reveal here if anyone is interested: [1] Wiimeiser (talk) 12:51, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

On the related page, Make Your Mark should say (2022-2023). 173.16.76.126 (talk) 04:55, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Change ″My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is a animated television series″ to ″My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated television series2001:16B8:B1FD:F400:2913:371:F535:B2B (talk) 12:20, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

While the general rule is to use "an" when the following word begins with a vowel sound, "an animated" simply seems... wrong. The sound becomes "an an" when saying the sentence out loud, which is extremely awkward. "a animated series", while having two A sounds, breaks the "an an" into "a an", which sounds better out loud.
Suffice to say, there's no easy answer to this one, so we may need more input from other editors. English is weird. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 14:37, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@HandThatFeeds: Sorry, while I didn't think about that I already implemented that request. (before I saw your comment) That being said, Animation also use "an animated", so maybe "an animated" is the preferred form. Replicative Cloverleaf (talk) 14:47, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's fine! I'm not really worried about it, just an odd situation in a sea of weird English grammar. There are no rules, just guidelines, unlike languages like German that have dedicated legal bodies to determine what "proper" German looks like. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 15:33, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@HandThatFeeds: Okay, thanks. :) I'll close this edit request. Replicative Cloverleaf (talk) 16:11, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
