In media
[edit]I think there was a Will and Grace episode where Jeff Goldblum played a character pretending to be a a writer from Parade. I think Karen mentioned that she wraps fish with Parade, and the other characters mentioned similar things about it. Can anyone confirm? Quacks Like a Duck 19:45, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Sensationalist
[edit]Does anyone else think Parade magazine is extremely sensationalist? Parade usually has intense titles like "Ten worst dictators" or something like "How your children's minds are ruined". The magazine also contains gossip about celebrities. Gamma632 21 November 2006
- I don't know about sensationalism, but the responses on their question page at the front of the "magazine" have a definite right-wing bias, such as calling Sen. McCain "not a real Republican" Kenzilla 00:26, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Dictators feature
[edit]The annual "Ten worst dictators" article column has been mentioned before in this article, but the mention of it has been edited out. The last such list I could find was from 2009. Was it too controversial? Has the annual assessment of dictators been discontinued? H Padleckas (talk) 06:00, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
Syndication
[edit]This article does not sufficiently explain how Parade has attained such wide distribution. Can anyone explain that? Thanks. — Epastore 17:31, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- In the Chicago area, Parade is automatically included with the Chicago Tribune Sunday edition every week, which is a much larger widely distributed newspaper. Something similar may happen in other places. H Padleckas (talk) 23:02, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- It's included in the Sunday edition of many newspapers across the U.S. So it may technically have the widest circulation, but it's pretty dubious to say that it has the widest actual readership, since it's not like that's why people get the Sunday paper. --Steve Foerster (talk) 19:06, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

[edit]parade.com tells me I am blocked from viewing it because I am in "RU". Has there been any report on that, or? --AVRS (talk) 01:29, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
No insert in either print or digital newspapers
[edit]My local newspaper Democrat and Chronicle, a Gannett publication, stopped including the print insert of Parade in 2022, but continued with an electronic version with the Sunday e-newspapers. Today the D&C informed me by email that "the company that owns Parade, Relish and Spry Living Magazines has made the decision to cease publishing these publications not only in print as well with the e-newspaper."
