Pinto was from Jacksonville
[edit]Because Pinto Colvig was from Jacksonville and not Medford, I removed Category:People From Medford, Oregon from his artcle. --DaKine 06:01, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Mugging
[edit]What does "mugging" mean in "...whose schtick was playing clarinet off-key while mugging."? Is it the robbery-at-gunpoint sense of the word, or something else? -kotra (talk) 17:48, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
It means "making funny faces":
v. intr.
To make exaggerated facial expressions, especially for humorous effect: The partygoers mugged for the camera. (From Dictionary.com --DaKine (talk) 17:52, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
See Also: Mel Blanc
[edit]I suggest this be removed. Not sure what the point of this is or where the connection is other than they are both Voice Actors.

- Not sure what the point of this is: Voice Actors from Oregon .... 0mtwb9gd5wx (talk) 03:53, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Responding to an 11 year old post 0mtwb9gd5wx (especially with the snark) is like a broken pencil - pointless. MarnetteD|Talk 03:58, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
Errors in the article
[edit]Pinto Colvig didn't work on Jeepers Creepers and Dumbo as he was still at Fleischer Studios in Miami, Florida (the voice of the Ghost in Jeepers Creepers was actually just Mel Blanc imitating Pinto Colvig's Goofy voice). Also, his filmography needs to be extended to include more things he worked on. 75.139.228.175 (talk) 06:35, 26 February 2016 (UTC)

Far too short, needs references, more pictures, a lot more background info, filmography. VegaDark 02:08, 6 August 2006 (UTC) |

Replacing Gabby with Lightning McQueen
[edit]Someone keeps replacing Gabby with Lightning McQueen from Cars. If this vandalism keeps up, we’re going to have to get this article in protection mode. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 21:44, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
