Playing Mômone in "La Môme"

[edit]

It is confusing, but Testud played Mômone in "La Môme"; I don't know if the two names are connected in any way ...

I am glad someone linked this page to the French version; I didn't know about it.

About the Mômone/Môme Enigma

[edit]

La Môme is french slang for "the girl kid" (the kid girl ?)with a touch of "bird" (english slang ) a good example is "Jolie Môme" (song by Léo Férré) to be translated by pretty kiddy girl. Mômone is the diminuation (like Tom is the diminuation of Thomas) of the name Simone. No connection... regards--Thomas Louis Jacques (talk) 15:05, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
