Joe Hall (American football)
- ... that football player Joe Hall, whose position was running back, weighed up to 340 pounds (150 kg) during his career? Source: Janssen, Mark (November 18, 2001). "Let's all hope Hall speaks the truth". The Manhattan Mercury. p. 11, 13 – via Newspapers.com. ("Of his weight that busted through the 300-barrier quicker than one can say, 'Big Mac, Whopper, Wendy's-triple ... and add a pizza, too,' Hall became a 340-pounder this past summer. Today, he only says, 'A lot,' when asked about his weight.")

("He had never played football before his freshman year of high school, but convinced the coaches to let him play running back and promptly scored 35 touchdowns for the junior varsity, with hardly a cutback or a juke")
- ALT2: ... that football player Joe Hall was described as "the largest running back to ever rush for 100 yards in an NCAA game"? Source: "Joe Hall". Palomar College. - Comment: This one was fun. I found a declined COI draft in poor shape from several months ago, and spent three days turning it into a decent c-class article. I'll try to get a qpq soon.

- ALT0a: ... that football player Joe Hall, whose position was running back, weighed 340 pounds (150 kg) at one point during his career?
- @BeanieFan11: New enough, long enough, well referenced, no concerns on Earwig. All three hooks are interesting and sourced; I prefer the first two. I've added a {{convert}} template to the first hook for those of us who don't use pounds. I have also reworded it slightly as ALT0a but either could be used. Just waiting on a QPQ. 97198 (talk) 07:02, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
