Suggestion for deleted ads

What if instead of reporting an error Wikipedia ads error: ID '...' does not exist, the template just tried to show the next ad in the list? Implemented a simple way of doing in the sandbox: Special:Diff/884929016/1109246795. —⁠andrybak (talk) 19:42, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Make ID gaps show the ad #174 ("Your ad here")

For example, there is a gap between #3 and #6. I think the algorithm should pick a random number between 1 and 276 and display #174 if the ad doesn't exist. Aaron Liu (talk) 02:36, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You provided no explanation to what you're trying to advertise. The template is used to advertise various Wikipedia maintenance collaborations, WikiProjects, policies, guidelines, processes and practices, such as barnstars, featured articles and edit summaries. If it is inferred that you are trying to advertise Araneta City, a district in Quezon City, Philippines, which does not fall under any of the aforementioned areas, I should remind you that Wikipedia is not a platform for you to conduct advertising, marketing, publicity, or public relations activities, and this template, despite being titled "Wikipedia ads", is not exception to this rule.
