Worked for 35 years for the University of Cambridge, UK, as head of the Literary & Linguistic Centre, assisting humanities scholars and lecturers in computerizing their work on texts and historical data in a huge range of languages and scripts. Now retired, though still engaged in editing work for some university projects.
