Reference Errors on 5 September
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Colin Ford page, your edit caused an unnamed parameter error (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:27, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
Ok. You contest the deletion. But the category is still empty. We don't generally leave empty categories lingering around the project. If you truly believe that this is a useful category, please populate it. If it remains empty, it's useless to the project. - TexasAndroid (talk) 13:49, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, I agree that the category should not remain empty, therefore I asked a question (Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Categories#How to respond when someone makes massive changes in categorization) how to revert the bad move of the category to Category:Members of the Provincial-Council of North Holland. It took much time to contest all those deletions of the old categories (ther were 11 more of them), so there remained no time to revert the moves. Also I thought perhaps a moderator has some tools to do it quicker than I can. Bever (talk) 03:03, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
- Hmm. No tools, no. There's a bot that does mass recategorizations, but it's mostly for implementing changes from WP:CFD. If the original move came out of a CFD debate, you may be out of luck in getting them auto-moved back. If it was done manually be a user, your best path forward might be to propose a rename back to the old names. Interesting situation. - TexasAndroid (talk) 14:40, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
- I have put a list of all categories on my sandbox page. I still have to sort out the correct explanation and placement and templates. Bever (talk) 22:27, 21 October 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Babitaarora. An edit you recently made to Assemblywomen seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Babita arora 07:09, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
- No, this was not a test edit. Please read the edit comment before reverting. Bever (talk) 07:19, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of International Boxing Union (1913–1946), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/International_Boxing_Union.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. - For the record, I did not create a new page which may or may not have a copyright problem. It is a copy from this old version of the old article International Boxing Union which I have split into two articles about two non-related organizations with that name. Bever (talk) 04:53, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- Responded on article's talk page. ~ RobTalk 05:11, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
Hello. :) Thank you for attributing your split. When you split or copy content in the future, can you please add {{copied}} to the talk page as well as adding the URL or direct wikilink in the edit summary? It is very helpful in avoiding such confusion later. Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia explains a little more. I'll add it for this case. :) Thanks. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 00:45, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Dank. Mijn gebruikersnaam is Armeens. Ik spreek geen Frans en heb niks met die Olha gemeen. Bohljat (talk) 23:28, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 21
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Luis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Booty (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Why would you omit the cruelties of VetCong while describing those of Americans ? No wonder y were not listened to. 37.47.42.251 (talk) 22:05, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
- Not that I would approve any VietCong atrocities or would keep that subject out of Wikipedia, but the article you refer to is called Role of the United States in the Vietnam War. Bever (talk) 01:52, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
