You asked a question on the Surround sound Talk page. I have left the answer. Martin.leese 04:32, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit]You said, "I could point out many examples of self-serving, promotional propaganda that has been sourced to governments in WP." I would really dig it if you'd point some out on the discussion or even here or on my talk page. ClaudeReigns (talk) 06:58, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
If this article was deleted before, please consider looking at Deletion Review instead of just recreating the article. Lastingsmilledge (talk) 05:23, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
- The article was originally deleted two years ago because it was a copyright violation (a straight-up copy and paste from another website). Please, feel free to take a crack at writing an article on the subject. --Stormie (talk) 06:45, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 06:12, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Personal Attack
[edit]See this is a warning - you really need to refrain from personal attacks as you did on Talk:Israel. Furthermore, accussing other editors of vandalism in the edit history when it is clearly not (see the definition of vandalism) is not acceptable. Novidmarana (talk) 06:26, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
And another warning
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing, such as the edit you made to Israel. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. In case you are wondering, your "Bumboy" edit is vandalism and not acceptable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Novidmarana (talk • contribs)
and yet another NAZI warning
[edit]unsignedcommenterBumboyNovidmarana, are you familiar with the Phrase "where the sun don't shine" Please remember that your nocturnal emissions must be verifiable, neutral and unbiased. Racist and sexist rants are disapproved of. What gives you the right to say what is "acceptable" - are you somebody important's ***boy? Fourtildas (talk) 06:26, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- The issue seems to be this edit of yours. "Established user" probably means what is explained here. A moment's thought would have told you that it could not mean "catamite of main writer." Equally, you have no reason to think that Novidmarana or any other particular editor is anybody's catamite. Possible offensiveness aside, your obsession (it seems) with fantasizing about sodomy by others is rather silly, the kind of thing I'd have written when 14. In future, please make sure to sober up before editing Wikipedia. (This will also dissuade you from imagining nazism.) Thanks. Tama1988 (talk) 09:48, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

- I thought it was fundamental in Wikipedia that people had to provide sources if requested. But some people simply remove the "citation needed". How should one deal with that? Fourtildas (talk) 20:15, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- By talking about it like reasonable adults. Show me which {{Citation needed}} templates you are talking about (diffs showing others removing them) and I will take a looksie. L'Aquatique[talk] 20:19, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

- How to find others removing them - is this the procedure? : "If searching the edit summaries does not help, to search for the edit between two revisions in which a particular change from some text A to text B was made (to find the user, the edit summary, and the context is which the change was made), take the diff between 1/3 and 2/3 of the "search space". From the diff and/or the "2/3" version one can conclude in which of the three parts the change was made (if there is A at 2/3, the change was made later; if there is B at 1/3 the change was made before; if the diff shows the change it was made between 1/3 and 2/3). This process can be repeated, every time reducing the search space by a factor 3. For changes in the wikitext which do not affect the rendered page, such as substitution of a template or editing HTML comments, take the diff between 1/2 and the end of the "search space" (if the diff shows the change it was made between 1/2 and the end, otherwise between the start and 1/2). If the change from A to B was made in steps (one finds a time interval where part of the change was made) one can continue the search for that part or the other part, or do the rest of the search for each of the two parts of the change." [unindent] To be honest, I can't find the diffs of them removing the tags, and if you expect me to take action regarding this I'd like to see you spend some time digging up some evidence. However, I believe the tags may actually have been inappropriate, since this little gem is found earlier in the text: The Land of Israel, known in Hebrew as Eretz Yisrael, has been sacred to the Jewish people since the time of the biblical patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Scholars have placed this period in the early 2nd millennium BC.[1] According to the Torah, the Land of Israel was promised to the Jews, by God, as their homeland,[2]
