If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hole in one international, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Karl 334 TALK to ME 22:29, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Hole in one international

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Hole in one international, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 22:36, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Hole in one international, you may be blocked from editing. --Orange Mike | Talk 23:13, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Odds On Promotions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the reasons. If the page has since been deleted, you can ask me the reasons by leaving a message on my user talk page.

Request reason:

Not a spammer... just trying to get my company's website on Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Karl 334 has been an amazing help to me and has linked me to documentation which I feel helped me understand why my page kept being flagged for deletion in the first place (G11). I am not a spammer; I am just a new user who is trying to understand (as well as remedy) the errors I have made as an editor.

I am working on a new and improved page which will not only NOT promote my company's product, but which will include external links to reputable sources to confirm that my company is indeed legitimate. Rest assured, my goal is not to attempt to advertise/sell on our page, just to get our name on here.

I will continue to read up on Wiki's documentation and rules (which I should have done before posting and I deeply apologize for that) before attempting to post another page on Hole In One International... but I would definitely appreciate the opportunity to be given another chance after I have all my duckies in a row, so to speak.  ;)

Thank you so much. You've all been so helpful.
