Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images, however, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Dannii Minogue, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. Please note that we take very seriously our criteria on non-free image uploads and users who repeatedly upload or misuse non-free images may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Orderinchaos 00:33, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- Also note that we're all bound by this policy. It means that, for example, we can't upload pictures of living politicians if a free equivalent can be found anywhere - even if it's an old crappy free one from 20 years ago and the new one is a good one. What we have to do then (and this is the challenging bit) is try to persuade whoever owns the copyright on the photo to freely release it so we can use it. Orderinchaos 00:34, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
