question

does the 3rr apply to talk pages? The pink panther 15:15, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

The 3RR does not usually apply to talk pages, except in cases of vandalism. If people feel the need to revert you on talk pages, you might want to see whether something you're doing is being interpreted as vandalism, and perhaps change that behaviour (perhaps your signature?) Mak (talk) 15:46, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Signature

Please change it, its quite bothersome.Voice-of-All 00:49, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

huh?i thought wikipedia didnt have siggies..

unblock request

my ip has been blocked.it is:67.185.26.89.i would appreciate if you would unblock it as there are a lot of edits i want to make.i am snape.i killed innocent bugs. 06:32, 24 July 2006 (UTC) i didnt do anything

my ip was aparantly autoblocked because it was used by cukeemonster or something.the reason for thier block was:vandalism only account.the admin who blocked cukeemonster was wiki alf.

We need the exact username. Copy and paste it here (if the block hasn't expire already). Sasquatch t|c 20:48, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

the username who used my ip was cukee monster.

it has been autoblocked again.the username who used my ip is reallytinyprint.

Rey

As i live in the Uk watchign wcw and ecw wasnt easy. I didnt really following those shows at all and havent ever really followed rey as i'm not a fna so it wouldnt be right of me to try and help as i dont really know alot of the thigns from that era myself. Lil crazy thing 18:53, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

ok,thanks anyway.i would put this on your talk page but some idiot got my ip blocked AGAIN.

Request granted

I see that you seem to be a good-faith editor, so there is no need to list you among the sockpuppets of User:SPOV. Sorry for being too suspicious of you. - Mike Rosoft 12:58, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Rey Mysterio

The link should stay removed. [1] states "Blogs, social networking sites (such as MySpace) and forums should generally not be linked to unless mandated by the article itself" Sasaki 13:55, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Request for block

I have blocked the user for a day (but don't think he is going to return any time soon anyway). Thanks for your report, but the next time you'll likely get a swifter response at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism (shortcut: WP:AIV). Regards, Mike Rosoft 11:33, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Category creation

It's quite simple; just create a page with a name Category:your category's name. (Enter the page name in the search box and press "go".) To include a page in a category, use the text ""; to link to a category without including the page in it, ":Category:Foo". - Mike Rosoft 19:19, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Well, there is formal mediation by the Mediation Committee (to which there is an official nomination process), and informal dispute resolution by the Mediation Cabal (of which - as far as I see - pretty much anybody can be a member). - Mike Rosoft 10:08, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

I have made a request to rename the category at Wikipedia:User categories for discussion. (Note: when a category is renamed, all pages using it must be changed manually or using a bot.) - Mike Rosoft 21:26, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Drop the caps please

Things like: [2],[3],[4]. No need to use caps. Remember using caps gives the impression that you're yelling.--Konst.ableTalk 01:22, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Regarding your 17 October edit to Oscar Gutierrez

This sort of demeanor is inappropriate, as I'm sure you already know. If something on Wikipedia stresses you out, please try to keep a cool head and remain civil. Thanks! hoopydinkConas tá tú? 01:24, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Rey 619

I wrote about the contract On Rey Mysterio; I thought it was true. It says on www.wrestling-edge.com. Look if you don't believe me at this hyperlink: 5

Thanks for keeping it on; you now know it's true for future reference. Anyway, I don't believe this is vandalism as I am giving out informative information. 86.20.53.195 20:19, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Mediation Committee Nomination

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your request to join the Mediation Committee was not successful. I encourage you to continue in your efforts to help with dispute resolution on Wikipedia, and to consider running again in the future if you remain interested. If you would like to be considered as a reserve mediator (for those times when we find ourselves shorthanded and are in need of willing and competent volunteers) please let me know. Again, thank you for your interest in the committee, and good luck with your work on Wikipedia. Essjay (Talk) 02:30, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome message for Wikiproject TNA. I also fixed your no vanity userbox. HorseApples 03:30, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Rey Mysterio/WikiProject TNA

I rved myself back to ur edits and did some more minor cleanup, I'll do some more now. Again, my apologies. I also joined WikiProject TNA, I think it's a great idea. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bmg916 (talkcontribs) 15:47, 31 January 2007 (UTC).

section on woman premiers in jeopardy

I thought that you might be interested that User:TRFA is stripping out a section in the woman article on women's advances and is stripping out a list of women premiers and other political leaders such as Tansu Ciller, Condoleezza Rice and Nancy Pelosi from the woman article. Dogru144 14:12, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

habitual gutting of woman by User:TRFA

User:TRFA is back to his vandalism of the woman article.

It would seem to me that habitual gutting without a nuanced, extended justification or dialog on the Talk:woman page or the Talk pages of his opponents would amount to vandalism. Dogru144 02:11, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

It would seem that his edits/ gutting edits miore amdn mefdar constitute Wikipedia:Three-revert rule. Dogru144 02:34, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, I suppose that the page struck me as looking like an administrator; and I thought that you would -as an editor on women's concerns- be interested in this problem.

Thanks for the tip for the admin reporting.Dogru144 15:45, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Rock music Wikiproject invitation

Hello WikiProject Metal member.
WikiProject Metal music is important in expanding encyclopedic coverage of the metal. It brings attention to the lesser-known bands, and significantly improves the quality of the famous ones. Five Featured articles and two formers is proof of that.
This is the stuff I wish to achieve with the somewhat recently resurrected WikiProject Rock music. I hope to also attract attention to rock music articles of all sorts, and hopefully change some to GA or FA status. I invite you to come join us, and embrace the links between metal and rock music in general.
Rock on.

An Automated Message from HagermanBot

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 00:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Warning on my talk page

I am not quite sure what the warning was about, but I have copied it on administrators' noticeboard anyway. (If you want to bring something to attention of al the admins, you should use one of the noticeboards, such as Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, shortcut WP:ANI.) - Mike Rosoft 10:14, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Spelling/Grammar

In order to keep readability throughout your edits, please follow these basic grammar rules:

 • Between a full stop and the next sentence, place a single space.
 • After a full stop, the first letter is to be a capital letter - that is, rather than "...example. then...", it would be "...example. Then...".

Thank you,
anthony[review] 04:22, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Personal Information

In the interest of your safety and privacy on Wikipedia, I see that you have revealed your age and other personal information on Wikipedia. Whether this was deliberate or not, please remember that Wikipedia is read by millions of people around the world and that it may not be wise for revelation of personal information. If it was intended to be revealed, please forget this notice. --KzTalkContribs 10:50, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I meant the age, although since you reverted my edit, you seem to want it there? --KzTalkContribs 22:46, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Mediation Committee nomination

Per the two oppose rule, your nomination to join the Mediation Committee has been declined. Your nomination has been delisted and archived here. Please note that a new policy was recently enacted in which a user cannot reapply within 3 months of their last declined nomination. However, we recommend that you take this opportunity to use the comments made at your nomination to improve yourself not only as a potential mediator, but as an editor of Wikipedia in general. Thanks again for your interest.

For the Mediation Committee, Daniel Bryant 09:50, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Thank you, but I already have a Wikipedia account. I just never take the time to log in. My account name is "DarkSword".

A new task force that could use your expertise!

Hi! I admire your edits and so I thought I might draw your attention to a new task force that I've set up with various editors. We're basically committed to making sure that the environmental records of major corporations and politicians are accurately and readably represented. If you have any interest in the project, please take a look. Regardless, keep up the great work. And of course I would welcome any advice. Benzocane 00:58, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Harry Potter roll-call

Hi there. Your username is listed on the WikiProject Harry Potter participants list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active on the project. Your name has therefore been moved to a "potentially inactive" list. If you still consider yourself an active WikiProject Harry Potter editor, please move your name from the Potentially inactive list to the Active Contributors list. You may also wish to add User WP Harry Potter to your userpage, if you haven't done so already. Conversely, if you do not wish to be considered a member of the WikiProject, leave your name where it is and it will be moved to the Inactive Contributors section. If you wish to make a clean break with the Project you may move your name to the Known to have left section. Many thanks.

From the Editor

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday.

This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement.

That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page.
