Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on Southend Pier. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Tdc42 (talk) 00:21, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tdc42... I am unsure why you have said this? The small amendments made are true and factual. The work at the Pier was specified be Darren Mcloughlin on behalf of the local authority and the pier manager was Lynn Jones. To state this is not factual is incorrect. Theproudwiki (talk) 03:16, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It may be factual but you must add verifiable sources for any new information on Wikipedia. Please see our guides on verifiability and citing sources. Tdc42 (talk) 03:19, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am fairly new to Wikipedia and study heritage architecture and construction projects. This small update is not contentious and was indeed sourced from the pier management as stated . All of the work is there to see and was published on the OJEU and was completed by Pavehall Plc this is unequivocal. If the page is personal to you that is all applauded but please now reverse. Kind regards. Theproudwiki (talk) 03:32, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't doubt that the information you provided is true, but under our policies on verification, the onus is on you to reference a reliable and verifiable source for that information. If you can find a source that corroborates your information, then by all means re-submit your edits with that source referenced. Tdc42 (talk) 03:39, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In my studies I have also spoken to Phil Hudson Partner at Price & Myers (who are citied in the previous paragraph) about the ongoing work at the pier so that is 4 sources including the pier manager and the OJEU tender process. The works are also referenced at www.piers.org.uk. Please reverse my update. Kind regards. Theproudwiki (talk) 03:50, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
