- Keep, Francisco Gómez the athlete is a difficult person to look up as there are many people with this name. Understanding this, he has won a bronze medal at the Central American and Caribbean Games and he played a critical role in a story involving Silvio Leonard and Alberto Juantorena at the 1976 Olympics, which has been widely reported as recently as November of this year in Spanish media even though the story happened in the 1970s -- that demonstrates durability of coverage. I added several cites to the article. Thank you for nominating and giving us the chance to improve the article. --Habst (talk) 20:30, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
- Keep: bronze medal in the '74 Central American games is enough to meet WP:NTRACK criterion #2. Owen× ☎ 22:51, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
