Background: Great Irish Famine is currently the subject of an ArmCom case involving the above editors. As part of the ArbCom, it was agreed as a temporary injunction that not to edit the page (and previously here) in order to prevent edit warring. A substantial edit was made (diff) by one of the participants in the ArbCom after it was opened. This led to a revert war (diff), which left the party that had made the substantial edits unhappy (diff).

Request: Pappin76 made a suspcious revert (diff) - suspicious because Pappin is a first time editor and made made a relative advanced edit (reversion, advanced use of reference tags, misleading edit summary). This was reverted by another new account (10 minutes, 4 edits), SeaOfTranquility, which then engaged in an edit war with the editor that had made the substantial edit (diff). Please check if Pappin76 and SeaOfTranquility are sock puppets of Sony-youth, SirFozzie,MarkThomas, Domer48, or Sarah777.

Note: It should be noted that Sarah777 is currently on holidays. I believe somewhere in Italy (her user page indicates Venice). sony-youthpléigh 13:44, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additional comment: The User pages of Pappin76 and BigDunc are almost identical and I suspect both of being sockpuppets for that reason. Both have posted on the Irish Famine Talk page (diffs: (posted on July 20) [1] and (posted on July 21) [2]).
