Hello, I'm Just Tidying Up. I'm commenting because I recently performed a major rewrite and expansion of Stalking Cat, and I am interested to increase further expansion and improvement of the article, with other editors. We especially need help finding more sources. There is also a task list, defining areas that need improvement. If you are interested to learn more about this topic, please join us at the rewrite discussion. Thank you. Just Tidying Up (talk) 16:36, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The articles Yiff and Fursona have like zero images. Which is odd because fursona is listed at top importance for this WikiProject.
But at the same time I’m not gonna lie I’m a little scared what images people are gonna put on theses articles. Like someone posted porn to the Yiff article and I reverted it.
I've been trying to find ways to improve Ozy and Millie via finding secondary/tertiary sources, editing paragraphs, etc. But I noticed on the article's talkpage that the last responsive interaction regarding the article which doesn't involve bots was all the way in January of 2010. Considering this, it would be logical to assume that the article hasn't received much attention from editors, and I certainly can't fix an entire article bit-by-bit by myself. What I'm basically saying is: I need assistance in getting Ozy and Millie to Good Article status, for I'm but a novice wikipedian.
I'd be happy to help, but a lot of the work here is finding independent analysis of the comic that doesn't come from blogs, user generated websites, or otherwise. It's in a pretty sad state right now, and it may be better to make a copy in userspace to make some heavy edits. I've done so here for convenience. Reconrabbit19:00, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I updated the participant list by removing users who have not edited Wikipedia in the last year. Of course they can re-add themselves. Some people here have been inactive for years.
Schneelocke (talk·contribs) - don't expect much editing from me, though (something that's actually true for me for the entirety of Wikipedia)
Bear Eagleson (talk·contribs) - furry art, furry role-playing games (especially World Tree). I don't have as much time to edit Wikipedia as I used to, but I'll do what I can.
Tikuko (talk·contribs) - Wikignoming, fursuits, and a handful of various minor subjects
I do not exist (talk·contribs) - cleanup, trimming out rubbish, etc. I don't know much about anything but I can try to help out where I can.
Thurinym (talk·contribs) - Use in media, history, societal portrayal. A newb to the wiki format, but I'll do what I can for the project.
Superlagg (talk·contribs) - Information vegetable, animal, and mineral. Also, I can spot textacular errors 50 Internets away, I am good Public Relations, and I can write things. Though, I recommend that we try to use as few furry terms as possible, I'm pretty sure people don't like it when we use "yiffy" in a serious sentence.
JJS911 (talk·contribs) - general information, vandalism cleanup, fursuit editing
Merond e (talk·contribs) - I got invited because of my interest in Sonic, and that's probably what I'll be editing the most. :)
Scani (talk·contribs) - Copyediting, general contributions, vandalism protection (if everyone above doesn't get to it first :P), dispute mediation wherever possible.
--Kªrºnªwªy 22:57, 14 December 2007 (UTC) - Proud furry, glad to help on making articles from a neutral POV. (User:Karonaway)
SilverWerewolf (talk·contribs) - Editing, contributions, improving furry articles, adding new ones if possible, removing vandalism from furry haters, adding furry webcomics. I try to stop misinformation and disinformation of the fandom by telling the real purpose and truth of the Furries and what reason the fandom is meant for without negativity and hatred. I have been a furry fan since I was a child due to my love of animals and old anthropomorphic animal cartoons. I read a lot furry webcomics, graphic novels, manga, novels, and information. I even enjoy playing furry games. My furry interests is much similar and different from other furry fans. I support Furries!
Tomi Undergallows (talk·contribs) - I'm in contact with a number of furry artists, I might be able to help out. And be a relentless editor :3. I suppose I could also be considered a greymuzzle, being in the Fandom for about 5 years (in the shadows until last year). I'd also like to help out improving/expanding existing articles.
Tigerwolfen (talk·contribs) - I'm hopeless at Wikipedia editing but I'm willing to learn. I know a lot about running forums if that helps (Anglofur) *Waves a flag*
Avalik (talk·contribs) Hoping to create a few articles. There's so many to do.
Wrk3 I can help with cleanup, copyediting and the like. I'm a fan of early- to mid-20th century American anthro from WB, HB, Disney, etc.
SiriusKarma (talk·contribs) I tend to stick to Fandom History topics as well as west coast furry convention topics.
SarrCat∑;309:05, 12 February 2016 (UTC) Indeed, it does seem that this project is inactive. However if it ever gets up off the ground again, I will gladly help out. Actually, I might try to get it up off the ground again, if there is anyone else out there willing to help.[reply]
Turlo Lomon (talk·contribs): I was originally exposted to CSI episode that scared me, but my interactions with your community has lead me to start reviewing your articles (as well as an unknowningly related one). I don't consider myself a furry, but I do love animals, and since we support the same charities, we obviously are on the same page there.
