грабёж • (grabjóž) m inan (genitive грабежа́, nominative plural грабежи́, genitive plural грабеже́й)

In modern legal usage, грабёж (grabjóž) refers to theft in open view or to robbery with the use of non-dangerous force (e.g. purse-snatching), and is distinguished from разбо́й (razbój) (robbery with the threat or use of dangerous or deadly force).
