- To come.
- (colloquial, constructed with ל־ (l-)) Used in expressing a desire or impulse, or lack thereof.
- בא לך לטייל קצת?
- ba l'khá/lakh l'tayél ktzat?
- (literally) [Does it] come to you to tour a bit?
(idiomatically) Do you feel like going for a walk?
- לא בא לי ללכת לים.
- lo ba li lalékhet la-yám.
- (literally) [It] doesn't come to me to go to the sea.
(idiomatically) I don't feel like going to the beach.
- (only in imperative mood) let us/let's; used with the first-person-plural future-tense form of a verb to produce its cohortative.
- בוא נדבר על זה מחר.
