Sprayable liquid preparation for especially nasal application with increased local residence time |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a preparation for topical nasal application to mucous membranes based on sodium chloride salt in aqueous solution. This preparation is liquid and can be easily applied from appropriate application devices by dropping or spraying on the affected mucous membranes. There is due to the special carrier base of water, one or more Poloxamer surfactants and one or more 2- and / or 3-hydric alcohols rapid gelation. The released active ingredient sodium chloride (salt) remains in place and unfolds its effect described above immediately. The preparation is therefore both dripping and sprayable and at the same time leak-proof. |
