SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber with an optimized creep property obtained by spinning UHMWPE containing ethyl or butyl branches and having such an elongation stress (ES), that, in the case when the fiber is obtained by spinning UHMWPE containing ethyl branches, the ratio between the number and ethyl branches per 1000 carbon atoms (CH / 1000C) and the magnitude of the stress at elongation is from 1.00 to 3.00, and the above-mentioned UHMWPE fiber when exposed to a load of 600 MPa at a temperature of 70 ° C has a characteristic creep time of at least 125 hours, and, in the case when the fiber is obtained by spinning from UHMWPE containing butyl branches, the ratio between the number of butyl branches per 1000 carbon atoms (CH / 1000C) and the magnitude of the stress at elongation ranges from 0.2 to 3.0, with the said UHMWPE fiber, when exposed to a load of 600 MPa at 70 ° C, has a characteristic creep time of at least 90 h. |
