titleOfInvention System for fighting fire for car tunnels
abstract The fire fighting system consists of a stationary extinguishing system, which byna spray water extinguishing device (7-13) is formed, and from a detection device (2, 3;n6) for location-specific fire detection. The detection device is by a linear heat detection systemn(2, 3) with a detection cable (2) mounted on the tunnel ceiling or throughna video smoke detection system (6) is formed.n n n The tunnel to be protected (1) is divided into extinguishing sectors with a minimum length of 25 to 30 m; when the detection device (2, 3; 6) responds, the spray water extinguishing device (7 - 13) is activated in the relevant and in the two immediately adjacent extinguishing sectors. The spray water extinguishing device (7-13) has a main supply line (8), to which nozzles (9) connected via sector valves (7), a water supply and a gas pressure accumulator (10) for a propellant gas for conveying the water to the nozzles (9) on.
