abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sintering of active species when exposed to an oxygen-containing atmosphere such as air after an activation treatment, and to be able to store in an oxygen-containing atmosphere after the activation treatment. It is an object to provide a methanol reforming catalyst. SOLUTION: An aggregate 1 of a carrier powder carrying at least one active species selected from metallic copper and Cu 2 O is provided on a surface of the active species present on a surface portion 2 of the aggregate 1. It is characterized in that a CuO layer is formed. |
