abstract Provided are an air bag base fabric that has excellent peeling resistance, fusibility and heat resistance of a coating resin layer to a woven fabric, and has low air permeability, and a method for producing the same. A base fabric for airbag 6 according to the present invention has an elastomer resin layer 3 formed on the surface of a woven fabric 5. The thickness of the elastomer resin layer 3 is in the range of 25 μm to 700 μm, and the number of bubbles 4 having a diameter of 50 μm or more present inside the resin layer is 100 / cm 2 or less. This airbag fabric includes a step of applying an elastomer resin to the surface of the fabric, and can be obtained by applying the coating liquid in multiple layers by dividing the elastomer resin application step into a plurality of times.
