The present invention is a coated fabric that is for an airbag, results from applying an elastomer resin onto at least one surface of a synthetic fiber fabric, and is characterized by the amount of elastomer resin applied being 25-60 g/m 2 , the average resin thickness of the warp and weft at the apices of the fabric surface being 8-45 μm, and the number of bubbles having a diameter of at least 30 μm at the surface of the resin layer being at least 100/cm 2 n . The coated fabric for an airbag has a heat resistance that is high to the degree of being sufficiently able to be used as an airbag reinforcing fabric, and even at application amounts no greater than 60 g/m 2 , has heat resistance usable at an attachment opening for an inflator having higher thermal loading and at the same time can prevent a blocking tendency arising as a result of contact between coated surfaces. |
