abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a solid pharmaceutical composition having a photosensitive active ingredient which is insoluble in water, excellent in resistance to light. n CONSTITUTION: The active component of the prescribed photosensitive ingredient is protected from light by mixing a plant coloring agent, for example, 0.1-10wt.% of chlorophyl into the solid pharmaceutical composition comprising the photosensitive ingredient which is selectively hardly soluble in water, for example, nifedipine, conventional carrier or adjuvant drug. The light protective behavior is acquired surely and simply, better by far from a conventional process because this process requires no opacifying agent and directly mixes the effective substance into the active ingredient. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO
