abstract | FIELD: veterinary. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to veterinary pharmacology, can be used to correct the antioxidant status of newborn calves, as well as for the prevention of diseases of non-infectious etiology. Method consists in the fact that calves receive orally infusion on the basis of a collection of nettle leaves and starch grass taken in a 1:1 ratio at the rate of 5 ml/kg of weight per day for 14 days. n EFFECT: invention allows to provide correction of the antioxidant status of newborn calves, based on a reduction in the content of radical products and lipid peroxides in animals and an increase in the activity of the antioxidant system, in conditions of shortening the duration of the phytocorrection rate to 14 days in comparison with the prototype. n 1 cl, 2 tbl |
