The piperidine derivatives of formula: <IMAGE> (I) in which X denotes -CO-, -CHOH- or -CH(NH2)- and Ar denotes <IMAGE> <IMAGE> in which R denotes hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and Y and Z, which may be identical or different, each denote a hydrogen atom or alkoxy of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and their addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable inorganic or organic acids are useful for treating and/or preventing disturbances of cardiac rhythm. These compounds are new except when X is -CO- and Ar is 1-naphthyl or 1-isoquinolyl. |
