abstract |
A multiphasic contraceptive dosing regimen in females of child-bearing age, comprises administration of an oral combination drug formulation comprising progestin and estrogen at effective doses that are gradually increasing, between phases of the regimen, provided that the ratio of a daily dose of progestin to a daily dose of estrogen is maintained at a constant level during the entire dosing period. The multiphasic regimen can be biphasic or triphasic. |
