abstract |
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a transformant which can produce lactic acid with high productivity without requiring the neutralization with an alkaline agent; a method for producing the transformant; and a method for producing lactic acid using the transformant. That is, a transformant which is characterized in that the host of the transformant is Schizosaccharomyces pombe , a lactate dehydrogenase gene of Lactobacillus pentosus is integrated into the transformant, and a part of a gene group encoding pyruvate decarboxylase of the Schizosaccharomyces pombe host is deleted or deactivated; a method for producing the transformant; and a method for producing lactic acid using the transformant. |
