The Infinite Power V Starter Deck (Chinese: V起始牌組 無極力量) is a 60-card deck with random elements that was released alongside the Infinite Power expansion on August 21, 2020 in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Information
The contents of each deck can be broken down into three main groups. The first group contains 18 cards, which often centers on a Pokémon V and other Pokémon that share its type. This group also includes nine supporting Energy cards and sometimes a Trainer card that assists in bringing Evolution Pokémon into play. The second group contains 16 cards, which comprise another type-specific selection of Pokémon and Energy cards. The third group contains a random selection of 26 cards from a pool of Item, Supporter, and Special Energy cards. This group can also include multiples of some cards. There are 18 possible varieties of the first group and 7 of the second—a deck can include any combination of the two, though the cards within each variety is always the same.
Many of the cards that can be found in the deck are also included in the Infinite Power expansion. Cards available in both products can be differentiated by their collection number and set symbol—those from the deck also lack both rarity symbols and any Holofoil patterns. Each deck comes packaged with a rulesheet and a cardboard sheet containing damage counters and status markers.
