- Tomorrowland (littéralement en français, « Le monde de demain ») est une section commune aux divers Royaumes enchantés de Disney de par le monde. Cette section est à l'origine celle présentant le « futur » tel qu'on l'imaginait à l'époque de la conception du premier parc. Le thème changea légèrement au fil du temps et devint, pour plusieurs parc, une présentation d'une vision du futur. Walt Disney était connu pour son intérêt pour le futur et avait présenté au public américain des avants-goûts du futur dans ses émissions de télévision. Tomorrowland est un prolongement en trois dimensions de cet intérêt. Chaque parc possède un concept légèrement différent des autres, raison pour laquelle chaque Tomorrowland est traité séparément dans le présent article. - Tomorrowland is one of the many themed lands featured at all of the Magic Kingdom styled Disney theme parks around the world owned or licensed by The Walt Disney Company. Each version of the land is different and features numerous attractions that depict views of the future. Disneyland Park in Paris includes a similar area called Discoveryland, which shares some elements with other Tomorrowlands but emphasizes visions of the future inspired by Jules Verne. Walt Disney was known for his futurist views and, through his television programs, showed the American public how the world was moving into the future. Tomorrowland was the realized culmination of his views. In his own words: "Tomorrow can be a wonderful age. Our scientists today are opening the doors of the Space Age to achievements that will benefit our children and generations to come. The Tomorrowland attractions have been designed to give you an opportunity to participate in adventures that are a living blueprint of our future." Disneyland's Tomorrowland is now in its third generation, and the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland is in its second. The Walt Disney Company has mentioned that it wanted to keep Tomorrowland from becoming "Yesterdayland". As a self-referential joke along this line, the 2007 Walt Disney Animation Studios film Meet the Robinsons (which is set mainly in the year 2037) features an amusement park called Todayland, which has rides that look similar to Space Mountain and Disneyland's original Rocket Jets. - Tomorrowland is een themagebied van Disneyland Park Anaheim, Magic Kingdom, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland en Shanghai Disneyland rond het thema toekomst. In het Disneyland Park in Parijs heeft Tomorrowland een andere naam. Daar heet het themagebied Discoveryland omdat dit makkelijker is uit te spreken door franstaligen. In tegenstelling tot in Tomorrowland wordt in Discoveryland de toekomst op een fantasierijke wijze voorgesteld. Op deze manier voorkomt men het probleem dat zich stelt in Tomorrowland waar de toekomst inmiddels is aangebroken en niet blijkt te kloppen met de ideeën van toen. Het themagebied in Parijs is onder andere geïnspireerd op de verhalen van Jules Verne en zijn ideeën omtrent de toekomst maar ook op de ideeën van Leonardo Da vinci en de verhalen van Herbert George Wells. In het themagebied bevinden zich verschillende attracties die gethematiseerd zijn naar het ruimtevaartthema. Een aantal voorbeelden van attracties die in de meeste Disneyparken voorkomen:
* Space Mountain, een overdekte achtbaan.
* Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, een interactieve darkride.
