Etymology

"Iceman" is a reference to the 1986 film Top Gun. Tests A07 Maverick Station and D09 Goose Station reference this film as well.

The subtitle, "Jet into the danger zone...", is a reference to the song Danger Zone, which appeared in the film's soundtrack.

  4. Comes from "Düse" (jet) and "-wik", a suffix found in certain German city and district names.
  5. A pun to the Russian name of TV series "TaleSpin" - "Чудеса на виражах" "Chudesa na virazhakh" (the literal meaning is "Wonders on the turns").
  6. From гамобой gamoboy (a slang word for Game Boy).
