Even now I can't help but feel angry and frustrated at Umbridge, she's written in a way that she literally has ZERO redeeming qualities or anything that could potentially justify her actions. Hands down best villain ever, just a straight-up bitch. I also remember last time I read the books, I liked Sirius, but honestly, now I honestly think he wasn't the best person to take care of Harry. He really prompted him to do reckless stuff in hopes of getting a James Potter version 2. Also BEAUTIFUL was the catching and punishment of the DA sneak. The last chapter or so really got me thinking about how bullying kind of goes completely unaddressed in Hogwarts, like when Luna tells Harry people hide her things I just felt so so bad for her. It must have been hard being in Ravenclaw where everyone is a smartypants....more

I think I finally understood the whole Snape situation too. My favourite part is when Harry realizes he has to die and walks across Hogwarts. The way that part is described it makes it feel how numb and disconnected from the real world he is (either due to shock or determination).
