I'm on the fence with this one. I picked it up a couple of times and put it back down because I couldn't get into it, but since it's an ARC and the release date was getting closer, I made a point of really pushing through and finishing it. Don't get me wrong, the writing was good, and so was the storyline I just couldn't connect with the Main Characters, Kira and Jack, for whatever reason.

Early on in the book I thought this would be great to see come to life on the big or even small screen unbeknownst to me there was already a deal in the works with Universal Television.
Bea was raised by her single mom aka the con-artist, she didn't have a typical childhood as her mother had her help with each of her con's and things only got worse as she got older. Now Bea is finally ready for her final con and this one will set her up for the rest of her life...she is determined to make Collin Case fall for her and marry her.
Bea is always the most gorgeous woman in the room so why wouldn't Collin fall for her, especially when she was so good at manipulation he didn't even realize he was being played.
This story is less about the romance between Collin and Bea and more about the conflict between Bea and the women that surround him, from his mother to his best friend Gale and everyone in between Bea finds an adversary in them all and is determined to be the most important woman in Collins life.
While I like the story and all of the twists and turns I felt the story lagged at certain parts and the ending left me with several questions and wondering if there's going to be a second book.
I would recommend this book to those that enjoy Mystery/Suspense Reads.

I am loving this series, in this installment we have Lawrence " Master Law" and Iris as our main couple, if you have read the previous book you know that Iris is Master Andrew's sister and she has a knack of getting herself into trouble, in this glorious book Iris finds herself on punishment for a month with Master Law the one to watch over her to make sure she doesn't interrupt a scene again. Now I will admit to reading this book before book two, which I did read a few days later, so I didn't know exactly what had happened but it was explained in brief detail so you know but when I read MASTER CHEF, I was able to see how the whole scene unfolded and Iris' previous interactions with Master Law.
I have to start out by saying that I have enjoyed each and every book in this series to date and the one that steals each and every scene they are in I have to start out by saying that I have enjoyed each and every book in this series to date and the one that steals each and every scene they are in is Puff Daddy, an African Grey Parrot that has the filthiest mouth ever, so when we are introduced to Evie, Kendall's Parrot, I couldn't be happier. Evie is so prim and proper the total opposite of Puff Daddy and they both had me in laughing like a loon.
Okay, now onto the good stuff....Hottie Finnegan Jenkins, with his Irish Brogue and flaming red hair really knows how to light a fire when it comes to Kendall Stewart.
Kendall is currently down on her luck, she is a single mom of three living with her brother after loosing her house, but she has a plan she's saving to purchase a new house for her and her children she just needs a little more time.
Finn works for Blackbridge Security and loves his job but what he's been loving even more these days is the time he gets to spend with his new neighbor in the building, Kendall, in the buildings gym...who says workouts can't be fun! But his evenings have gone from peaceful to anything but, he's convinced the guy across the hall from him has a bunch of animals living with him, so of course he calls and complains about it. OH LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!
I loved the chemistry between Finn and Kendall, I also loved the way the kids were with Finn each of them had their own brand of sass or snark and it was perfect. There of course is some other bad things happening in Kendall's life but with Finn at her side you know she's going to get her HEA.
If you enjoy Romantic Suspense, Close Proximity Romances, or Single Mom Romances I would recommend this book to you.

This book is so different from anything I have read by the author before. Serial Killer, know as the BH Killer, has abducted 7 boys and murdered 6 of them. The seventh one has escaped and tells the cops who was holding him captive...a high school teacher Randall Thompson.
This story weaves back and forth through Psychiatrist Dr. Gwen Moore meetings with her patients that have violent tendencies to meeting with Scott Harden the latest victim that escaped the BH Killers clutches. Who is the killer, what motivated him to torture these young men for weeks before killing them, and why did he dispose of their bodies so brutally? All these questions and more are answered in the compelling read.
If you enjoy Mystery Suspense, Books that are dark and will have you at the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next, then this book is for you. I would also recommend listening to the audiobook because Susan Dalian did a fabulous job bringing this story to life.
Have you read the Lilah Love Series by Lisa Renee Jones? If you have you're going to want to dive into this one as well. This series starts off with Detective Samantha Jazz being assigned a case to find a serial killer after the Detective that was on the case suddenly relocates to a different town. Sam has a special skill set that makes her perfect for this case, she knows her Poetry better than anyone else on the force.
There is a killer on the loose and he's leaving a calling card, A poem inside of the victims mouth. What does it mean? Is there a connection between the victims? Who is the killer? And more importantly what does he want with Detective Jazz?
Normally I like my books steamy, actually the steamer the better but I have to say I didn’t miss it at all in this book. I was so engrossed in trying to figure out who The Poet was along with Detective Samantha Jazz that I didn’t want to put the book down, actually my kindle died on me which was the only way I was going to stop reading for the night.
I will admit that the prologue did help a bit with figuring out who the killer was but since we didn't have a name to go on we could only put the clues together.
I really enjoyed this book and I hope to see more of Detective Jazz in the future.
If you enjoy Mystery Suspense Reads you're going to want to grab this one.
Unlike anything else Lisa Renee Jones has written. Is a lie a lie if you believe it to be true? That is the ultimate question!
If you are a fan of LisaUnlike anything else Lisa Renee Jones has written. Is a lie a lie if you believe it to be true? That is the ultimate question!
If you are a fan of Lisa Renee Jones you need to throw out every preconceived notion you have before you being this book, this is not a Romantic Suspense, not erotica, there's no hearts and flowers or rainbows and sunshine in this story. This is totally different from anything she has written before, it's even different from her Lilah Love Series.
I have to admit this is a hard review to write because there was so much going on you didn't know what was true and what wasn't, it had me guessing everything and totally kept my interest the entire way through. I honestly didn't want it to end and I definitely don't want to spoil it for anyone. I finished this book a month ago and I instantly began telling my friends that they had to add this to their TBR list and make it a priority because it is something that everyone will enjoy.
I hope you will add it to your TBR shelf as well because I think this is one of those books that shouldn't be missed! Happy Reading!!!

Only time will tell because we are left with a cliffhanger, but what I can tell you is that this is not an easy rider for Special Agent Love, no, there are many twists and turns that keep bring up events of her past. Is someone trying to tell her something or is it all just a coincidence?
